18 Months

Grant is now a year and a half! We had his doctors appointment today - Grant now weighs in at 26 lbs ... gained 3 from his 15 month appointment - which puts him in the 60th percentile. And he is now 34 in long - which puts him in the 90th percentile! The doctor was very pleased with him gaining so much weight, because for a while he wasn't gaining much - probably because this kid is so active!

Grant is still talking up a storm ... my new favorite is please. Mostly because it is a nice change from just grabbing at something or whining when he wants food! He signs and says please ... today though he wanted some food and I said, "what do you say?" ... that's when Grant replied, "pe pe". Haha close enough! Grant is also starting to put more words together. I picked Mike up from the bus and Grant immediately said, "hi Dada" when Mike got in the car, and when Grant spent the night at the Grandparents house this weekend, he said "do it again" when playing with Grandma! One of Grant's new favorite words is bite ... because he always wants a bite of what you are eating! Silly guy!
